EMIS Coordinator/Curriculum Director
Hello Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members!
My name is Sara Szych, and I am honored to serve as the Director of EMIS and Curriculum here at Elmwood. This marks my 15th year in education, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to serve as a teacher, instructional coach, academic director, and principal.
In this role, I’m looking forward to combining my passion for a strong curriculum and the power of data to help support student learning. My goal is to make sure our instructional programs meet the needs of all learners and that we’re using the Education Management Information System (EMIS) to keep our reporting accurate, clear, and useful.
I believe that high-quality curriculum and meaningful data go hand in hand in shaping effective teaching and learning environments. I’m excited to work alongside our teachers, staff, and families to build systems that are student-centered, equitable, and always improving.
I can’t wait to connect and collaborate with you throughout the year as we continue working toward a strong and successful school experience for every student.
