Hello Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members!
My name is Sara Szych, and I am honored to serve as the Director of Curriculum here at Elmwood. This is my 15th year in education, and during that time I have worked as a teacher, instructional coach, academic director, and principal.
In my role, I focus on supporting what students learn in the classrooms from preschool through high school. I work closely with teachers and school leaders to make sure lessons, materials, and programs are clear, consistent, and support student growth at every grade level.
I believe a strong curriculum helps teachers do their best work and supports students as they learn and grow. By working closely with teachers and school leaders, my goal is to ensure students across all grage levels have clear, consistent learning experiences and the support they need to be successful.
I look forward to working alongside our staff and supporting our school community throughout the year as we continue to provide a strong and positive educational experience for every Elmwood student.
